Inverness is divided by the River Ness which flows through the city.
Walk down to the river and take your bearings. Look down stream and you will see a series of bridges crossing the river. The bridge that you want to find is the Friar's Bridge which is the third last bridge crossing the river before the harbour (Friar's Bridge is a busy modern road bridge where the river widens nearing the harbour)
If you are on the right bank of the river cross over one of the bridges and walk down river to the Friar's bridge and continue under the bridge. (If you walk across Friar's Bridge itself there are steps which will take you down to the river bank). Coming out from the bridge turn left and walk down Abban Street cross over Lochalsh Road to the next junction. This junction is Telford Road. Look to your left and you will see the church which is a few yards from where you are standing.
There is a car park at the rear of the church.
